Business Analyst - Banking

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst - Banking.
Business Analyst - Banking –

• This position oversees various aspects of intraday liquidity management including cash position forecasting and the CAD End-of-Day Settlement Balance Management
• Business group: Global Cash Management
• Maintain the operations of the CAD cash position forecasts, CAD Settlement Balance management, the intraday stress testing, the CAD Cash Gap reports, and Collateral Management
• Lead projects to enhance existing processes or procedures
• Maintain collaborative relationship with Accounts managers/Relationship managers to ensure GCM is included in all advance notifications of large transactions
• Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
• Work with RMIT to resolve pending issues related to Global Cash Management System (GCMS)
• The team focuses on ensuring sufficient cash is present in various accounts and they manage borrowing and lending of money to other stakeholders
• Maintain collaborative relationship with CAD short term funding desk to build CAD cash strategy

Business Analyst - Banking – Mandatory Skills

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in Banking (Data Analysis, Business Analyst, Treasury, Capital Markets)
• Work independently and diligently to support the operations of Global Cash Management
• Detail oriented, data focused and ability to distill information for senior leaders
• Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word)
• Experience in Cash Management
• Able to strategic influence team members to work for a common goal
• Ability to make situation-appropriate decisions under time constraints with limited information
• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to build or enhance processes
• Ability to apply analytical skills in a highly dynamic environment
• The incumbent is required to communicate ideas clearly and effectively

Business Analyst - Banking - Preferred Skills

• Experience or understanding in Treasury
• Project Management experience
• Power BI (ability to create dashboars)
