Hatch is seeking a highly motivated IROC Analyst to join its Integrated and Remote Operations Solution Area Team in the Digital Practice.

This role will be responsible for working with our clients to help them meet their business, financial, and project objectives related to the design and implementation of digitally enabled Integrated and Remote Operations. As an IROC Analyst you will be supporting project teams in the activities including gathering and analyzing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses, developing and communicating recommendations, presenting results to client management, managing workstreams or engagements, and implementing recommendations with client team members. As part of the global IROC team you will also be assist with the business development activities of the teams in all regions around the globe and contribute to the development of offerings to ensure repeatable quality project delivery.

A Successful Candidate Would

• Assist clients to identify opportunities, create and execute a strategy, achieve the expected outcomes, and sustain these outcomes through the development of asset strategies, key performance indicators and performance measures
• Select and use a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, asset improvement, process optimization and asset management techniques
• Research, review, clean and analyze data to facilitate the development of well-supported, value-add solutions to customers’ most complex challenges
• Develop and deliver presentations both internally and for clients.
• Deliver segments of analysis and reporting within IROC projects
• Keep up to date with issues and trends in Integrated Operations and digital systems and their use in the mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure
• Build trusted relationships with existing clients to further develop business opportunities
• Undertake potentially frequent international travel to client/project sites
• Development of general business project skills and/or greater depth of knowledge within an industry or functional specialization
• Work with Hatch and client project teams to deliver high quality results for our clients
• Assist with project management and coordination duties, such as work planning, invoicing, and reporting
• Facilitate workshops with clients
• Be a champion of inclusion and diversity

Experience And Skills Important For The Role

• 2-5 years of management consulting or relevant industry experience
• Superior communicator with the ability to interact professionally and considerately with client(s), gaining co-operation and respect
• Experience working in a high-energy, deliverable-oriented environment with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a broad range of project types and responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and under own initiative, or actively contribute as an effective member of a team
• Proven industry experience in mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure
• Proven experience in using research and analysis tools
• Bachelor’s degree. Engineering with minor in business, commerce, economics, or relevant business course work preferred though not required if relevant skill set is met
• Strong data analytics skills, including experience with business requirements gathering, analysis and ability to translate business requirements into technical process solutions
• Functional knowledge in Integrated and / or Remote Operations and Digitally Enabled Business Transformation
• Experience in the fields of IT / OT architecture, big data, advanced analytics, cyber-security is considered a strong asset
