Job description:
TechnipFMC Canada is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Intermediate Project Engineer The prime responsibility of this position is to work as part of an integrated project team – under the guidance of an experienced Senior Engineer – on engineering, safety, quality, scheduling, contractual, procurement, and offshore execution.
- Assist with work scopes and packages both technically and commercially ensuring they meet project contractual requirements, including subcontractor interfacing.
- Act as an offshore project engineer, supporting vessel and ROV operations for project execution. Work with vessel crew to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate and coordinate meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants and assist with technical and operational issues relating to installation engineering.
- Assist with subsea installation engineering tasks as required by projects and tenders. Tasks include but are not limited to the development of method statements, installation procedures, mobilization plans, rigging design, lift plan layouts and interface checks.
- Ensure work is in compliance with TechnipFMC Group Standards and Guidelines, relevant approved procedures, client requirements, government regulations and industry standards.
- Adopt the HSES and Quality culture and promote correct behavior both inside and outside the organization.
- Participate in the identification of work scope risks, including the development and implementation of risk mitigations.
- Interface directly with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Support mobilization/demobilization and onsite/offshore support of relevant fabrication, testing and installation activities.

- Registered with PEG-NL as P.ENG or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

- Collaborates transparently to address what truly matters and delivers on promises.
- 2-5 years of Project Engineering experience is required.
- Ability to seek new, innovative solutions, exploring all opportunities to maximize potential.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office based position with partial offshore work as required by project demand. Travel may be required to support mobilization, demobilization, and offshore operations domestically and internationally.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent sitting and operating a computer when in the office. Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs / ladders while onboard the vessel, as well as exposure to construction sites and vessel operations.
