ROLE:

The Application Engineer is responsible for reviewing customer requirements and creating a winning proposal. The candidate will work closely with the sales team and internal technical team to identify customer needs and design solutions that meet those needs. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in automation, and a customer-focused approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects
• Ongoing management of sales funnel and associated reporting
• Create proposals and presentations for clients
• Work closely with sales and internal technical team to come up with great solutions that meet customer requirements
• Meet with vendors and coordinate any proof-of-concept testing required to ensure a proper technical solution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
• Preparation of sales literature and marketing materials
• Prepare multiple quotations simultaneously, accurately, and on time.
• Provide support to the project execution team
• Ongoing development and management of quoting database
• Review and analyze engineering specifications and customer requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong technical skills in automation and electrical engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least 5+ years of experience in automation or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
