Information Technology System Specialist

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Working inside a collaborative and passionate environment, your role will involve supporting staff with technical assistance. Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Acquire, install, and upgrade software and components, providing routine automation where possible
• Partner with our outsourced networking and security consultants to resolve any issues, proactively manage risks and roll-out any new systems and/or programs
• Identify potential issues, and apply operating system updates, patches and configuration changes when necessary
• Providing tier 1 and 2 support for internal teams (including Hardware/ software/ access/ meeting rooms)
• IT equipment, systems access, and applications
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end user workstations and peripherals
• Work closely with our external IT support team on more complex issues to bring effective resolution for our users
• Manage onboarding and off-boarding activities;

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Highly proficient with computers and their associated hardware and software components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expertise in Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016/365 Suite, Active Directory Administration, and Citrix environments.
• 5+ years of experience providing Help Desk support in a professional services or corporate environment.
• University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology

COMPENSATION

• Vacation: 3 weeks & 6 flex days
• Benefits: Dental; Extended Medical
• $70,000 - $80,000/ year based on experience
