Job Description

Our client, a leading retail group, is looking for an IT Specialist to join their Head Office team and support their 3 brands, who must be an exceptional team player who supports our IT department.


Key Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment to support store openings
  • Willingness to work in unregular operations hours when needed which includes weekend and holidays as well to be able to be available and responsive to urgent end user issues.
  • Network skills are which includes but not limited to:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Windows 2012\2016\2019 Win10\11
  • -vLANs, Routing, SSL tunnelling, SSL clients, switching, WIFI, Fw policy etc.,
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Hyper -v virtualization – advantage
  • Supporting EDR\AV Solutions – advantage
  • Knowledge with HP Retail solution hardware (touch screens, Printers, scanners etc.) as well with HP\Dell’s Desktops\Laptops\Servers hardware
  • Proven experience with Azure portal\Servers
  • Knowledge with network printers
  • Proven experience with Office365 admin as well with end-user clients
  • Knowledge with Veeam Backup and restore - advantage
  • Significant advantage to candidates with Checkpoint firewalls background
  • Ability to drive and travel between malls to support stores as needed
  • At least 5 years proven experience with front user support as well with remote users, 2 references required from those positions
