: Part-Time IT Assistant [Multiple position] (Development/Cyber security/Networking)

Our IT company is currently seeking motivated and talented students in their last semester of an IT-related field to join our team as part-time IT Assistants. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the development, support, and networking aspects of the IT industry while balancing their academic commitments. As an IT Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, assisting with development projects, and managing network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Help employees with IT-related queries and provide timely resolutions or escalate to the appropriate team members.
• Assist in developing and maintaining software applications, websites, or other IT solutions as assigned.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance existing systems or develop new functionalities.
• Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide relevant and effective support.
• Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Conduct routine system checks, backups, and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in software development, IT support, or networking is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.) for software development.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing efficient solutions.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Currently enrolled in the last semester of an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist employees and collaborate with the team.
