Garaga Inc. is seeking a HR Business Partner for its plant in Barrie, someone who plays a front-line advisory role with our different stakeholders in our plant in Ontario. We are looking for someone who brings solutions through their analytical skills and in-depth knowledge in HR best practices, with a focus on industrial relations. A HR business partner who develops HR tools, policies & practices to maintain a balance between culture, employee engagement & organizational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER:
Under the supervision of the General Manager of the plant, you will play an advisory role to support our partners in the implementation of human resources management best practices. You will be the reference regarding HR policies, processes, and programs. You will support our local partners in tackling HR challenges with a smile.
- Participates in activities related to the pay equity process.
- Provides front-line support to managers and partners.
- Last but not least, plays a key advisory role in terms of industrial relations.
- Provides support and information to our partners on HR programs and policies.
- Participates in health safety committees and follows up on work accident files.
- Participates in the development of human resources tools and procedures.
- Ensures the implementation and follow-up of training activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, HR Management or any other related field.
- Sense of initiative, intrapreneurship & positive leadership style.
- CHRP certification or in the process of obtaining it, an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience with Health & Safety an asset.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.
