Job Title: Human Resources Assistant - Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. This is a remote, part-time position that allows you to work from home. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and assisting with various HR tasks.

Skills

• Familiarity with HRIS software is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Help organize employee training sessions or workshops as needed
• Coordinate new hire onboarding process including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Prepare reports on various HR metrics such as headcount or turnover rates
• Assist in recruitment efforts by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
• Support payroll processing by collecting timesheets or attendance records from employees
• Maintain employee records accurately in the HRIS system
• Assist with benefits administration such as enrollments or changes in employee insurance plans or retirement savings accounts

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
