Job Description
Job Responsabilities
  • Provide guidance for labor relations and responsible for writing discipline letters
  • Provide support on different HRIS and processes
  • Train, implement and deploy programs, initiatives and company policies
  • Assist multiple locations with recruitment and ensure offers are aligned with the policies
  • Ensure engaging onboarding processes
  • Manage job changes by preparing the documentation for the employees records and by approving the requests in Workday
  • Coach managers in HR management (performance, behaviors, conflicts, training, etc.)
  • Employee relations, employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent management and development initiatives
  • Provides support to employees/managers with short and long term disability processes, liaising with our suppliers as needed.
  • Contribute to the annual merit and bonus processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR management or other related fields
  • Is adept at mediation and managing conflict
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good understanding of provincial laws and regulations governing the management of HR
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Solid business acumen and ability to determine long term value
  • Ability to deal with confidential issues in a sensitive, efficient, and professional manner
  • Solid consulting experience and analytical skills
  • Motivated and passionate about working with people and overcoming challenges through collaboration
  • Available to ravel up to 35% of the time
  • Min of 2-4 years of experience in a HRBP role preferably in the retail, distribution industry or multi-Sites
  • Capable of working in a fast- pace environment.

Summary
This individual with report directly into the Senior Human Resources Manager and will be responsible for coaching and supporting store leaders in order to contribute to HR operational excellence while ensuring strong business performance.
