Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with strong marketing background to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in launching our cutting-edge cloud-based product, expanding our market presence, and achieving our strategic objectives. Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Produce compelling marketing collateral, such as sales decks, brochures, case studies, and whitepapers, to support sales efforts.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to drive growth and expand market presence.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking forums to build brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to plan and execute targeted marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Produce and manage website content for our B2B cloud-based product based on the inputs given by the technology and management teams
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance metrics to track ROI, optimize marketing activities, and generate actionable insights.
  • Create and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, content marketing, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, investors, and industry influencers.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to manage leads, track campaign effectiveness, and maintain customer data.
  • Lead negotiations for business agreements, contracts, and partnership arrangements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and innovative approaches.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights for product enhancements and positioning.
  • Collaborate with the founding team to develop and execute the company's overall business strategy and vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and positioning strategy.


Requirements:


  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and identify market opportunities.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Strong knowledge of the software industry, technology, SaaS fundamentals, and cloud.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in B2B software sales and marketing roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and interact with clients at various organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales methodologies, lead generation techniques, and marketing strategies.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software products and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Proven experience in a senior business development or executive role, preferably in a startup or high-growth company.
  • Passion for innovation and driving positive change in the industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using Content Management Systems like WordPress.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, securing partnerships, and generating revenue.
