Job Summary:

Numinus is looking for a Graphic Designer for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate for this role has strong work in brand identity exploration, an innate ability to storyteller and can create immersive content across all of our owned channels. You would bring strong technical graphic skills, a discerning eye and an ability to hand draw is a plus. The ideal candidate would also thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and has an affinity for health, wellness and the psychedelics space.

Job requirements

Individual Accountabilities:

• Develop concepts for promotional campaigns to support Numinus brand awareness, as well as conversion campaigns
• Refine and perfect the Numinus brand, establish our brand standards, and ensure accurate and consistent branding across all teams, channels, and materials
• Work with internal teams to design and develop marketing materials such as presentations, emails, social assets, ads, landing pages, clinic collateral, etc.
• Work to bring all assets into the new Numinus brand vision
• Manage and maintain our Numinus website, optimizing layouts, producing visuals and iconography, leveraging photography and video, and enhancing the UX/UI
• Leading the design team towards accomplishing company goals and promoting continuous improvement of their skillsets
• Work with contracted photographers and videographers to create branded content that reflects the Numinus brand

WHO YOU ARE

Position Requirements:

• BA/BS in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
• Advanced knowledge of digital tools
• 2-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Superb communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and/or CRM applications is an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Technical skills to work with popular graphic design programs
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish
• Experience with HTML or WordPress would be an asset
• Attention to detail to ensure that all the team specifications are met and free of any errors
• Develops and works toward set deadlines
• Understands the target audience and writes content that clearly communicates to them
• Ability to work independently and identify next steps

Key Support Accountabilities:

• Creates visual concepts to communicate information. Shapes the visual aspects of the Numinus brand.
• Strong organizational skills to keep up with various team projects and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Defines requirements, visualizes and creates graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos.
• A creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions.
