You might be the General Office Clerk Robert Half is looking for, if you are a highly motivated self-starter who is keen on working in the Automotive industry. Do you love organization, order, and people? You might be right for this essential role. Are you looking for a short-term contract / temporary General Office Clerk role? If you're in the Markham, Ontario area, and can perform various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work, this might be the job for you!


Major responsibilities


  • Offer a warm face for customers
  • Supporting front desk and receptionist duties
  • Performing data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying and faxing
  • Receiving and placing telephone calls
  • Providing accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion
  • Exercise prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence
  • Supporting diverse projects for other employees as needed


Requirements


  • Document Scanning experience
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
  • Familiar with handling office equipment
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • 1 year of Office Clerk experience recommended
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
  • Administrative Assistance experience
  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • A Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma
  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
