Job Description
Job Summary


Reporting to the Manager, Homeowner Assistance, the Homeowner Assistance Analyst will be responsible for assessment and approval of workout solutions for consumers experiencing financial hardship.


Responsibilities


  • Partner with Sales and Underwriting to promote value of Homeowner Assistance program to lender partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to consumers experiencing financial hardship.
  • Identify and implement process changes to improve efficiencies within the workout process and maximize loss avoidance opportunities.
  • Analyze and implement optimal workout solutions in line with Sagen policies based on unique consumer circumstances.
  • Collaborate with Claims and Loss Mitigation Analysts to identify files for possible workout opportunities.
  • Provide highest level of internal and external customer service.
  • Work with lender partners to understand lender processes and constraints to maximize opportunities to provide workout assistance.
  • Identify and communicate property and credit risk observations to internal stakeholders.


Skills And Qualifications


  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • University or college degree is preferred.
  • Ability to work shifts within extended hours of operation.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of underwriting or credit and collection experience.
  • Working knowledge of database and Microsoft Office software/programs.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting to achieve Business results.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
