We are seeking a Financial Accountant, Inventory to join our Finance Team.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, Operations Accounting & Costing, The Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate statement and reconciliation of inventory and to provide other value-added analysis to support the business.

We Are Looking For a Teammate With

• Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry, preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Excel
• Team player and contribute to a positive work environment
• University Degree/ College Diploma in Business and/or Accounting
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, changing priorities and multi-tasking environment
• 3+ years' experience in an Inventory or Operations Finance Role
• Possess strong attention to detail, data integrity and ability to problem solve
• Experience in Oracle Fusion would be an asset

This Teammate Will Be Accountable For

• Support Internal Control Testing (NI 52-109)
• Monitor daily inventory reports to identify and proactively address issues
• Special projects and requests as needed.
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Other ad-hoc duties as required
• Work closely with auditors and provide schedules and evidence as required for external audit
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and general ledger review
• Investigate general ledger variances and report to stakeholders
• Participate in month-end and year-end inventory closing activities
• Provide support on inventory counts and investigation of related issues
• Assist with tracking and posting of write-offs
