We are in search of talented Junior Financial Analyst who is highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the incumbent will play an active role in strategic planning for optimizing workflow and building operational frameworks and processes. The Jr. Financial Analyst will perform various functions to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial information and control functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysis of Sales, custom reports’ generation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies timely and appropriate.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure that all operational activities have been properly accounted for and recorded, and that all accruals are done in accordance with established standards.
- Primary liaison between FP&A and Accounting to ensure consolidated externally reported results are consistent with those used for forecasting /budgeting.
- Work closely with the operations leaders on daily/weekly updates to the forecasts, including highlights and commentaries on current performance developments and emerging future trends.
- Provide accounting assistance/support in response to departmental inquiries.
- Assist with R&D Projects, RFQ, and Price increases.
- Assist and participate in the Price generation process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by collaborating on ideas and supporting various analytical projects.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet skills to collect, maintain and analyze financial and statistical data.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience, manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Ability to articulate data and communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong data management computer skills including advanced Excel and database tools like Sage Accpac, Salesforce, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
