We are a multi-site privately owned clinic with 4 locations in Manitoba and growing rapidly. We are looking to hire an experienced Accounting Professional to lead and manage the daily operations of our corporate entities.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a keen interest in finance and analytics, that may be working towards (or already have) their CPA or other professional designation.

We are calling this position the Finance Manager, as it will provide financial leadership to our management team. It will include all of the day-to-day transaction processing (bookkeeping) as well as the forecasting and growth of all finance matters. Long term advancement opportunities include Controller and CFO of our entire group.

Minimum skills required:

• OKR reporting and bonus management
• Experience in bookkeeping, records management and storage
• Monthly reporting on cash flow, P&L trends and forecasting
• Proficiency in online banking, transfers and reconciliation
• Experience with sales tax and payroll reporting and remittances
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of the leadership team
• Experience with Quickbooks Online, or the ability to learn very quickly!
• Financial management of corporate entities, income taxes and inter-co transfers

Value-added skills:

• Budget preparation, reconciliation and tracking
• Experience in the healthcare field, specifically patient management systems
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
• Wizard-level spreadsheet skills, bonus points for proficiency in Google Sheets
• Electronic processing systems development & implementation
• Vendor relationship development
• Experience with accounting for charitable organisations

This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and will interact with the other members of our leadership team, as well as our (external) Accountant and Legal team.
