Process Improvement Leader - Investment Finance
Location: Hybrid - York Mills / University Ave
Empire life is looking to hire a Process Improvement Leader to join our Corporate Finance team supporting initiatives in the Investment Finance area!

What you’ll be working on
- Establish KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and develop metrics to measure investment process performance and report on results to stakeholders
- Lead and facilitate process improvement projects, ensuring effective project management, adherence to timelines, and successful implementation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the investment sector to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Apply process improvement methodologies to identify root causes, propose solutions and drive process changes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to evaluate existing investment processes, identify pain points and develop strategies for improvement.
- Initiate and build effective relationships with colleagues in other departments, leveraging strong interpersonal and influencing skills to support and develop effective cross-departmental relations and work initiatives
- Conduct thorough analysis of current workflows, systems and data to identify areas of optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance investment operations, reduce risk, and increase overall effectiveness
What we’re looking for you to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Demonstrated proactive initiative with ability to take ownership of challenges and promptly take appropriate action
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems, utilizing data driven insights
- Minimum 7 years of experience in investment management, asset management or a related field, with a deep understanding of investment processes, systems and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders at all levels
