Position: Finance Analyst III
Duration: 12 months with potential to extend or convert to permanent
Location: Moncton, New Brunswick
Type: Hybrid
SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting:
• Monthly Reconciliation Report Card – running the report and reviewing the Tester Notes and Recommendations
• Testing Results Flash – summarize testing results
• Final Results Deck – update tables and commentary and understanding the key themes found during the testing cycle
Other:
• Re-review previously tested Priority High Fails - to ensure that the remediation plan was followed through.
• Assist with ad hoc request - for advisory reviews outside of the regular testing cycle
• Assist with Additional Testing and or Reviewing where required

Summary: The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities: Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports. Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks. Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.
- 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
- An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
