Work Location Moncton, New Brunswick (Remote, Hybrid or Both?): 2-3 days in office

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) Experience with presentation decks

• Monthly Reconciliation Report Card – running the report and reviewing the Tester Notes and Recommendations

Prepare quarterly management reports on fee revenues, expense reforecast, and other key drivers

1-2 years of experience in accounting and finance

Prepare and post journal entries for manager/corporation entities

Excellent communication skills and collaborates effective with others

Highly organized and has ability to fulfill responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Advanced Excel skills and proficient working with large data sets using exceptional analytic skills

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Minimum three to five (3-5+) years of job-related experience in financial or business analytics role.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, or related field.

Expert knowledge of financial and General Ledger (GL) reporting, or similar financial reporting system

Full knowledge of each component in basic financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)

Experience with Cognos, Tableau, or similar front-end reporting tool.

2-3 years of relevant finance work experience

Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Keen interest in data analytics and strong analytical skills (training in Tableau, TM1 & Alteryx will be provided)

Prepare financial analysis in support of financial business decisions

Forecasting, reporting, and analysis of key operational and financial metrics

Assist with preparation of internal and external presentation materials

Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills

Lead the financial Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, target setting and execution of financial plans

Forecast deviations from AOP/prior forecast on a periodic basis with supporting causes of change and any risks/opportunities highlighted

Participate in period end meetings, presenting and explaining discrepancies between forecasted values and actual results.

A degree/diploma in Mathematics, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Economics or equivalent experience

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Experience building reports & dashboards while following best practices for reporting and communicating with stakeholders

A background identifying and recommending improvement opportunities through reporting, process, and trend analysis

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with all levels of organization

Assist in financial and operations report development and maintenance of key business unit reports

Analyses and monitors key performance indicators and business performance, and creates regular reports to management.

Performs financial analysis regarding trends, financial structure, asset, cash and liabilities, etc.

May also contribute to the (further) development of concepts and standards in the area of expertise based on operational experience.

Partner with the Plant Management to gather, analyze, and summarize operational financial reports and adhoc reports and analysis

Management, and control including a perpetual inventory system

Knowledge and experience with US GAAP and SOX (Bill 198) environment

Coordinate, collaborate, and prepare annual business plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly flashes, and weekly financial pulse – collaborating with FP&A requirements

Participate in close activities as assigned by the Sr. Controller and Director of Finance
