What You Will Do
This role works in partnership with the facilities team and reception coordinator. The incumbent will assist and, in some cases, own in the day to day running of various facilities activities, including handling work orders, meeting event coordination (including setup and teardown), handling café and lunch spaces through restocking and distributing supplies. In addition, this role will provide reception coverage. The incumbent is a self-starter, they can prioritize the work and ensure work is performed, while maintaining delivering a high customer service experience to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities

• Lunch hour reception coverage
• Backup for Team Members - Facilities Coordinator
• Work with landlord and other internal stakeholders to coordinate building services and enforce to building rules and regulations
• Meeting event coordination and café cleanup
• Furniture setup for meetings and external events/basic furniture & equipment installation
• Stock and distribute supplies inventory as required
• Assist with addressing client concerns/issues using the work order system

What We’re Looking For

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent work experience

• Ability to lift 50lbs without any assistance
• Ability to organize time and prioritize work
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Comfortable with escalation
• Proven customer service skills
• Team player
• Ability to be proactive

Nice to have

• Reception experience
• Previous job or volunteer experience as a day porter or similar facilities role
