Combining our deep technical expertise with a 30-year track record, we deliver innovative, value-add consulting studies, project delivery, asset operations and maintenance solutions to the mining & metals, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to join our global Sustainability team. This role will provide high quality administrative support to our Senior Vice President, Sustainability (SVP). To be successful in this role you must be a creative and collaborative team player with strong communication, planning and organizational skills. You are a connector between the SVP and the Sustainability practice, and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative environment.

About The Role

  • Providing administrative support for business and strategic planning which may be complex in nature and, at times, confidential (financial reports presentation, etc.).
  • Supporting the SVP with all aspects of communications including townhalls, webinars, newsletters, announcements, and social media.
  • Coordinating all domestic and international travel arrangements for the SVP including organizing business visas where required.
  • Coordinating and promoting internal social activities.
  • Cross collaborating with various departments and business lines across the organization and supporting various operational or strategic process improvements or initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships including responding to any inquiries in a clear and efficient manner.
  • Tracking SVP’s expenses and preparing expense reports.
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings and ownership of meeting management including logistics, taking meeting minutes, capturing action items, and preparing reports.

About You

  • Experience working in a professional services or consulting firm is a strong asset.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with clients, staff and management and embrace a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and other software specific to the role. Experience using Oracle is an asset.
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in a professional work environment supporting senior leaders.
  • Previous experience in a communications or journalism role is a strong asset.
  • Adaptable and proactive when faced with change and ambiguity and the ability to manage competing priorities under minimal direction or supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and strict confidentiality.

Working for Ausenco means you won’t settle for the status quo – you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, culturally diverse organisation. We expect our people to deliver outstanding results and will give you the licence to find a better way forward for your clients and stakeholders.

In addition to a competitive remuneration package, we provide employees with a wide range of growth opportunities and training programs to build your skills and pursue your career path. This role is conducive to
