Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to join their team in their Canadian Head Office located in the Downtown Toronto area. This is a hybrid role, with the expectations of the qualified candidate to work in the office 3-4 times a week.
What is this role?
The bank is looking for an Executive Assistant who can provide high level administrative support for executives. The successful candidate will have business acumen, discretion, confidentiality, a good understanding of technical and business vocabulary, and a detailed knowledge of the organization's operations, procedures, and people.
What are the responsibilities for this position?
• Manage C-Suite calendar by scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel as needed.
• Develop executive presentations.
• Monitor, review, and approve standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the office are conducted within established budgets.
• Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
• Read, research, and rout correspondence; draft letters and documents; collect and analyze information.
• Manage the variance analysis and ensure it aligns monthly.
• Participate and assist employee engagement initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries providing necessary information and redirecting calls when necessary.
• Act as the primary liaison and coordinator for department initiative
What are the must have Qualifications/Experience?
• 5+ years of experience in an Executive Support role; specifically managing C-Suite calendar
• Advanced technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, especially PowerPoint)
• 1+ years of experience working with PowerBI Software
