Your future role on our team

By joining our team, you’ll be asked to help with the various stages of project execution, including proposals, onsite testing, analyses of industrial power systems, drafting technical reports and final delivery to the site, while benefitting from BBA’s network of recognized experts to support you in completing your mandates and in your professional development.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and for maintaining strong client relationships.

• Conduct power flow, short-circuit and stability studies for power systems
• Carry out onsite testing for hydro and wind power generation installations
• Perform system analyses with specialized software in the power systems industry
• Perform NERC compliance studies in modelling (MOD25/26/27/32)
• Carry out engineering projects in power systems and specialized studies
• Draft high-quality technical reports to support our clients

• Knowledge of machine controls: control settings, transfer function, control schematic

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Perfectly bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
• At least 2 years of experience in the power systems industry
• Valid driver’s licence
• Available for short-term and long-term assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada
• Asset: graduate degree (Master’s or PhD)
• Member of the OIQ
• Have the ASP Construction card for health and general safety on construction sites; BBA can assist you in obtaining it, where necessary.
• Asset: a diploma from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
