In this leadership role, you are an internal technical master at the line level who ensures the line team is performing at a level that sustains and improves business results on one or more of 6 stars model. You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check-adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team.


How You Will Contribute


Without you, we could not deliver high-quality snacks to our customers. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, that quality assurance activities are performed and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

More About This Role


  • Actively participates and supports all safety initiatives within the manufacturing location.
  • Follow and administer Quality Policies and Procedures including food safety, HAACP, POGS, traceability and product hold investigations.
  • Initiate action and follow-up on all safety concerns raised by employees.
  • Ensure all employees under their direction clearly understand all safety rules and regulations, appropriate training has been received and work performance is in accordance with applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Support site automation problems and reliability initiatives
  • Executes small plant blanket projects and/or provides support to larger capital projects.
  • Coach direct reports (Coaches) in the provisions of the Leadership Development Programs (MPI and Behavioral Based Development Plans)

Requirements


  • 10+ years ofElectrical and Control Automation field experience.
  • Industrial Electrician License ( 442A / 309A )
  • TPM Experience is an asset
  • 3-8 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working on A-B/Siemens/Omron PLC and control systems; Experience working on various VFD and Servo systems
  • 4-yeardegree in engineering or equivalent other related fields of study.
