Electrician Jobs

Our client, a leading dairy products company, is currently seeking an accomplished Electrician to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Support and maintain company products and quality standards

2) Repair and maintenance of filling machines, pasteurizing process systems, packaging systems and conveyors common to a dairy operation

3) Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and manuals to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations

4) Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance

5) Work well with and support peer groups, other departments and the facility as a whole

6) Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them

7) Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables and cleaning circuits

8) Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the dairy products industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
