Job Summary

We are seeking a certified electrician for full time day shifts at our Winnipeg facility. We offer $43.67 per hour and overtime after 8 hour shifts, 10hr shifts can be considered. PLC and VFD training is provided if needed.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Sunday - to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00PM

Position Tasks And Responsibilities

• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders and other electrical components
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Overtime Available
• Work independently when required, and as part of a team when appropriate
• Promote and comply with Health and Safety regulations
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical code specifications
• Install and troubleshoot PLC5, RS logic, RS view, Allen Bradley controls, Factory talk, Device Net & Ethernet systems.
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, instrumentation and controls on various types of equipment
• Troubleshoot and solve a variety of problems during the shift
• Ability to work up to and including 600VAC systems and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned - Indoor and Outdoor

Required Qualifications

• Sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Accustomed to working with computerized maintenance and inventory reporting systems
• Proven track record in troubleshooting, knowledge of PLC's, VFD's and soft starts
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's, VFD's and soft starts will be an added advantage
• Certified Electrician ticket required-Trade certificate - 442A or 309A
• Proof of Apprenticeship
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer knowledge is an asset
