The Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA) is looking for an experienced eLearning curriculum design/developers to assist with the review and update of online courses as part of our new The Foundations Training Program (FTP).
CCAA is the only national association dedicated exclusively to the Labour Market and workforce in our sector. We focus on a National Labour Market Strategy, developing programs and tools the sector needs to meet the demands of the current and future workplace.
This is position is a remote, 6 – 8-month contract, position as part of an Industry Led Training Project (ILT) funded by the Government of Canada to increase the interest level for individuals to join the aviation and aerospace industries. The successful candidate will work Monday – Friday 9 EST – 5 EST. The objective of this position is to participate in ensuring a minimum of twelve courses have been designed, developed, or updated.
Specific Duties
·Review new & existing content for quality and consistency.
·Create or update courses using Articulate 360 software.
·Ensure courses are interactive and designed to engage learners.
·Combine multiple versions of same/similar courses into one curriculum package for eLearning development.
·Validate and approve course content pre and post development of eLearning produced through third party sources.
·Create question banks for knowledge tests.
·Research data, image, video, etc. to be included in content for courses.
·Include or review courses for diversity and inclusion methodologies, and strategies for multicultural education.

·Other training and administrative duties to support the project objectives and successful outcomes.
Qualifications
·Must have a minimum of 2 -3 years experience in course development.
·Must be fluent in verbal and written English language.
·Must be certified in Adult Education or have acquired related experience.
·Must be proficient in Microsoft Suit, Articulate 360, and have working knowledge of LMS functionality.
·AME or aviation/aerospace experience an asset.
·Specialized Aviation & Aerospace vocabulary would be an asset.
·Be consistent in terminology and quality.
·Be reliable on timelines and delivery.
