As a graphic designer, you will play a crucial role in producing visually appealing, effective, and on-brand graphic assets for our stable of podcasts, articles, and resources. Existing templates and styles will provide structure for your designs but you will also create new designs for these based on existing brands and assets.

Collaborating closely with our Brand team, you'll work to develop requirements and integrate feedback from our Content team and other stakeholders. Asset design will range from podcast cover art, article feature images, infographics, banners, and other promotional materials.

This role has much opportunity to grow with our Brand team, ultimately contributing to new brands, and the core brand for Klue.

This is a part-time role - scoping 20-30 hours per week. Preference for candidates that are based on PST.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly checkins and meetings on an ad hoc basis
• Create graphic assets for articles, resources, banners, pdf documents
• Work with existing artwork to create engaging compositions and harmony in style
• Grow your own skillset and contribute to the growth of others
• Communicate project clearly and diligently via Slack and email
• Work with existing templates for a streamlined workflow
• Create new templates for efficiency
• Work with stakeholders to implement specifications, direction, and feedback
• Create designs that reinforce our existing brand structure and aesthetic

Technical Skills

• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• AI tools like letsenhance.io and midjourney.com - Familiarity is an asset, but we can teach you these
• Figma - A basic understanding is ideal, but we can teach you this
