Job Description
THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking elevated retail talent to fulfill the position of District Manager for the British Columbia market. The successful candidate will be responsible for all three Brands. (Ricki’s, Bootlegger, cleo).
Ideally the candidate would reside on the Mainland.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of the business to effectively execute and quickly adapt strategies to ensure operational excellence, merchandising execution, maximum productivity and profitable sales and earnings growth. You will drive high performance across all initiatives and ensure consistency within your stores as measured by company goals and KPIs that drive a profitable portfolio. You will lead, develop, coach, and inspire a portfolio of stores to deliver an optimal customer and employee experience. Your goal is to lead execution and support the brand and company vision, ensuring your teams are delivering results and holding their teams accountable.
Specifically, some things you will do:
TALENT MANAGEMENT:
 Communicates professionally and effectively with all Team Members. Builds, develops, and promotes successful teams through effective recruiting, hiring, and staffing. Exhibits consistent leadership and communication vertically and horizontally across the business.
 Network and recruit utilizing company tools to create a bench of talent for future growth, assess skills and cultural fit.
 Capitalize on opportunities to train, coach and performance management individuals on their professional and organizational growth. Being strategic with succession planning, ensuring that the team is elevating the standard in current roles so that they are ready to take on more when required.
 Address coaching and performance discussions timely and as needed.
 Develop Store Managers to drive the performance of store teams to maximize productivity and minimize performance issues.
FINANCIAL:
 Critically analyzes key performance indicators and identifies behaviors needed to drive top line sales.
 Oversees the business, drives, and executes all company/store initiatives according to established timelines and
standards and strive for operational excellence.
 Lead store teams to generate sales to meet and exceed goals.
 Coach Store Managers to build customer loyalty through execution of the company programs and customer service.
 Analyze business results and coach Store Managers effectively on the necessary actions to continuously improve results.
 Plan, control and direct the Loss Prevention trust at field level.
 Financial acumen regarding managing a P&L, ensuring that there is strong cost management, reduction and control
skills always exhibited.
PRESENTATION:
 Maintain a strong and genuine customer focus, merchandise to company standards and embrace change. Ensure visual presentation, merchandising and marketing are to the company standard.
 Ensure merchandising standards are being executed including visual, signage, sales promotions and floor sets as required.
 Utilize Company tools to audit, train and coach to company standards. Maintain a region that is neat, clean, and organized always. Cultivates a positive work environment through recognition and motivation.
LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION:
 Natural ability to grow leaders and instill confidence in people around them.
 Ability to deliver and inspire a great internal and external customer experience while always looking for an opportunity to grow customer base.
 Develop and coach Store Management to execute flawlessly on company objectives and procedures with the customer experience and talent development at the core.
 Foster a positive, prideful work environment with open communications, timely resolution of conflicts and regulatory compliance.
 Develop and maintain strong relationships within the community and foster existing ones to build the brand Ability to build and sustain effective teams.
 Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with field and corporate leadership Effectively communicates with all levels of management.
 Elevate knowledge through mentorship and training ensuring that a diverse team is built with a customer focused culture.
WHO YOU ARE:
 3+ years of retail experience as a district manager.
 2+ years of multi-unit management experience in a complex fast paced environment is preferred.
 Ability to inspire, motivate teams, advocate for, and lead teams through change.
 Curious, Approachable, Solutions finder.
 Strong business acumen and proven track record of leading, adjusting and developing business strategy to achieve profit & loss results.
 Ability to embrace challenges, take risks, learn fast and influence change to lead execution of strategic initiatives through others while managing competing priorities.
 Able to travel overnight and/or between stores as required.
 Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.
