Dispatcher/ Call Taker Jobs

The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing person with excellent communication skills and able to work in a very busy business environment. You must be highly organized and be able to multi-task efficiently. You must be able to handle all client inquiries, requests for service calls and scheduling of drivers in a professional and articulate manner.

Responsibilities:

▪ Answering inbound telephone calls

▪ Booking drivers for routing requirements as requested

▪ Dispatching of drivers daily

▪ Handling customer issues and providing appropriate resolutions

▪ Providing data entry, filing, and other administrative support as directed by General Manager

▪ Ability to organize and prioritize schedules is integral to this position

▪ Must be able to answer after hours emergency phone line

Requirements

• Must possess a high level of attention to detail and the ability to follow a task through to completion
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills both on the phone and in person
• Must be adaptable to changes throughout a day and must be a fast learner
• Must have strong computer skills with proficiency with both Microsoft Office products and Excel Spreadsheets
• Must have excellent time management and organization skills to complete daily tasks and meet deadlines
• Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
