Responding to resident calls and emergencies; providing First Aid and contacting emergency services and the on-call manager as required.

You have at least one year of janitorial or housekeeping experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.

Cleaning and sanitizing common areas according to a pre-set schedule.

Performing laundry services as needed.

Answering phone calls and screening visitors at building entry points.

Conducting security patrols and monitoring video surveillance to ensure resident and staff safety throughout the night.

Customer service experience is an asset

Experience accepting various types of payment including cash

Must be able to work every second Saturday (7am-12pm)

Working at the front desk assisting customers with purchase orders

Educating customers on available product using sales techniques

Entering data into the computer system

Maintaining an ongoing knowledge of tests administered to ensure efficiencies in testing processes;

Troubleshooting various minor technical problems that occur with software programs and computers in the Testing Centre and in a remote environment;

Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills; be self-directed; have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of standard office practices and procedure, and standardized testing tools.

Experience with virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Ensure the fair and proper conduct in the testing environment that enables a student to perform at their best;

Grade 10 plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Perform a variety of duties according to Food Safe protocols and quality and safety standards including

Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit,

Graduation from a recognized 12 month program in cooking or an equivalent combination or education, training and experience.

Post-Secondary education in a related discipline, such as; Business Administration, Office Administration-Health Sciences

Demonstrated excellence in effective communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated proficient use of automated telecommunications systems and personal computers, call centre system applications experience preferred.

Minimum High School Grade 12 graduation

Successful completion and documentation of Medical Terminology course
