Our Director, Underwriting Corporate Development is responsible for the re-engineering of processes and discovering operational efficiencies to improve flow and standards across the Underwriting division.
They play an essential role to creating a learning community, training analysis and recommendations company wide.
The Director, Underwriting Corporate Development will also be responsible for leading the underwriting response to industry claims trends and training to enhance underwriting service and to achieve its goals

You’re great at:

• Leading the review and analysis of endorsements, renewals, reissues, and cancellations in accordance with standards and guidelines.
• Directing the training and development of staff, and provide technical expertise and advice regarding products, systems, and processes.
• Identifying recommendations and improvements in technical underwriting that help with efficiency and effectiveness of underwriting business processes, workflow and best practices through the development and implementation of solutions focused on optimizing resource utilization.

You have:

• 10 years of Property, Casualty & Auto Underwriting experience
• A strong understanding of underwriting discipline and pricing model.
• 2+ years in a leadership role
