The successful candidate will lead several initiatives under the general direction of the CEO, including elements related to external communications, client relationship development, thought leadership, strategic project delivery, organizational health, social impact, and philanthropy.ResponsibilitiesManaging and working on special projects that help move the firm’s strategic initiatives forwardResearch and analysis of concepts aligned with the strategic direction of the firmParticipating in the creation of content, including reports, briefing notes, proposals, and emails on the CEO’s behalfParticipating in meetings and events with, and on the behalf of, the CEO that are aligned with firm strategy and growthHelping to maximize the impact of the firm by ensuring the CEO’s time is allocated to critical initiatives aligned with the firm’s prioritiesActing as the communication lead for the CEO with external stakeholders and partnersLeading strategic marketing and communications efforts, including the creation of content, guiding digital and social media efforts, collaborating on thought pieces, and developing marketing campaigns and initiatives Overall, helping to implement the firm’s strategic vision through the execution of other initiatives and tasks as requiredQualificationsCandidates should meet the following criteria:Formal education in Business, Communications, Public Policy/Administration, or other complementary field of study Experience in consulting or other professional service industries is requiredExceptional organization skills as demonstrated by significant experience leading projects and executing strategiesExcellent communications skills as demonstrated by significant experience developing concise and engaging content across numerous mediumsStrong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by significant experience engaging internal and external stakeholders in the development and execution of initiativesStrong problem solver; ability to think ahead and catch problems before they arisePrevious experience in project settings in a professional services environment Focused on providing exceptional results to internal and external partners Possess the ability to remain flexible concerning approaches to delivering solutions; Experience with communications, marketing, social media, and/or digital content would be considered an asset, andKnowledge of the public sector, the social sector, or healthcare would be considered an asset.At Davis Pier we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
