CPA Atlantic School has the mandate of delivering the nationally developed CPA certification program in both official languages for Atlantic Canada and Bermuda by providing a professional, post-baccalaureate, cooperative educational experience. As a registered Private Career College, CPA Atlantic School supports approximately 1,900 students and candidates in their journey to becoming Chartered Professional Accountants.

On their behalf, we are currently recruiting for a Director, Marketing & Recruitment to join their leadership team. As the Director, Marketing & Recruitment, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving regional marketing and recruitment efforts to attract prospective students to pursue a career in CPA. Key responsibilities will include planning, directing, and coordinating regional marketing, recruitment, and communication functions. In collaboration with the senior management team, the appointed individual will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the CPA Atlantic School. The director will lead a department composed of Student Recruitment Advisors and a Marketing Manager, providing clear direction, fostering staff development, and ensuring employee satisfaction and engagement.

The ideal candidate should possess outstanding leadership skills and a strategic mindset that inspires and motivates teams. They should hold a post-secondary degree with a specialization in marketing, sales, or a related field, and have a minimum of eight years of marketing and sales experience, including senior-level positions, preferably within an educational or professional services setting. Proven expertise in integrated reputation and brand management across various marketing channels is crucial, as is the demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and measure strategic marketing and communication plans. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for long-range planning and foresight are necessary. Comfort with reading, writing, and speaking French is a valuable asset. Additionally, a willingness to occasionally travel throughout the Atlantic region and outside of the province for committee participation will be required.
