Role Overview

Kye Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced and talented commercial leader for the role of National Sales Director. It is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact, build a culture, accelerate a growth-stage company, and lead the sales organization across Canada. The National Director of Sales at Kye Pharmaceuticals, reporting to the President, will be accountable for delivering top-line results. They will oversee all sales personnel across Canada and contribute strategically as a member of the Kye’s leadership team.

Key Responsibilities Include

·Understand and shape market opportunities for future growth and performance of existing promoted product in Cardiology

·Rapidly build and manage a high-performing Canadian sales team in pediatrics and primary care whose approach aligns with Kye's mission, values, and culture

·Support team members in their development and develop field force deployment plans for additional therapeutic areas, dependent on business development activity

·Think holistically about the business and closely monitor performance against key metrics, taking accountability for driving success over the long-term

·Analyze available data to ensure the effective deployment of resources

·Cultivate collaboration and drive accountability across cross-functional teams in order to deliver on all elements of the business plan

·Establish processes that will enable a foundation for success, such as business planning, performance management, communication, incentive compensation planning, territory design, sales training and operational sales support.

·Develop professional relationships and contacts with key customers

·Breed and role-model a compliant culture of both patient-focus and physician-centricity. Exemplify it by developing and maintaining good business relationships with key external stakeholders

·Maintain current understanding of relevant therapeutic areas, how changes could impact Kye’s portfolio and make recommendations on changes which Kye could make to maximize opportunities in the market

·Drive efficient and thoughtful stewardship of budget

Education & Experience

·BS/BA degree required; MBA or other related graduate degree preferred

·10+ years of biotech/pharma commercial experience, with robust experience building and leading successful sales teams through launch

·Experience in pediatrics, ADHD, cardiology, haematology, women’s health, and/or primary care would be an asset

·Bilingual (English/French) candidate is preferred

·Location:Toronto/GTA is preferred (also open to consider Ottawa and/or Montreal area candidates)

·Ability to operate in either partially-virtual or hybrid (office/virtual) environment
