Your responsibilities in a few words!


Define pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and management teams - Approve pricing changes - Work with systems teams to streamline pricing management processes - Build financial models for new opportunities to assess their profitability - Ensure accuracy of pricing and pricing adjustment mechanisms - Identify opportunities to improve pricing strategies through internal/external benchmarking - Collaborate with product management team to review business portfolio - Process accuracy of customer programs - Ensure approval process of pricing requests - Participate in the implementation of the new pricing system - Ensure accuracy of customer programs - Ensure approval process of pricing requests - Participate in the implementation of the new pricing system - Participate in the implementation of the new pricing system - Ensure accuracy of customer programs - Ensure approval process of pricing requests Collaborate with the product management team to review the business portfolio - Process the accuracy of customer programs - Ensure the approval process of price requests - Participate in the implementation of the ERP system to standardize the pricing process - Develop economic models to assess the profitability of new business proposals - Contribute to the development of creative and feasible pricing solutions with our sales department - Work with the IT team to improve the BI environment - Provide the sales teams, marketing and management teams with detailed information on sales dynamics - Create and maintain KPIs and dashboards - Measure pricing accuracy and performance - Produce a comprehensive report for management teams to report on progress, successes and issues to be resolved - Participate in the preparation of the management report for the divisional team and the financial report for the Board of Directors - Perform variance analysis for expenses versus budget and prior year - Support the reforecast, budget and strategic plan processes - Act as the financial lead for these processes for volumes, sales and margins and ensure deliverables and deadlines are met - Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Managers to establish their staff and expense budgets

  • Bachelor's degree in business
  • Experience in leading strategic planning initiatives
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in price management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • MBA and/or CPA (assets)
  • Bilingualism: English required and French optional
  • Ability to develop intuitive and relevant dashboards
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (advanced Excel, databases, PowerBi an asset, ERP, etc.)
  • Basic accounting knowledge and good understanding of income statements in an industrial environment, sensitivity to concepts such as standard costing
