Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our team. As a Designer, you will play a vital role in supporting the program Senior Design and working collaboratively with the project team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of NBN projects and make a real impact.

Responsibilities

Apply expert knowledge of NBN design guidelines across multiple architecture types.

Provide technical guidance and best working practices for cost-efficient and high-quality designs.

Execute deliverable designs and support leadership, design, and project colleagues as an expert.

Interpret and apply new guidelines and standards to meet internal and client requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of designs within budget and to quality standards.

Collaborate closely with Construction Team, Land Access Team, surveyors, and Field Managers.

Provide recommendations to improve day-to-day operations and workflow visibility.

Address design objections and coordinate with stakeholders.

Work with the program Design Team Lead and Design Manager on variations and contractual notices.

Review standards and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Maintain a focus on safety in design protocols.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 5+ years of design experience within NBN projects.

Expert understanding of NBN Type-2 & Type-3 Architecture.

Proficiency in SpatialNET, AutoCAD & MapInfo.

Ability to interpret technical documentation and drive technology adoption.

Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent customer empathy and communication skills.

Outstanding attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with "safety in design" principles.
