DAY-TO-DAY AS A PART-TIME SENIOR CAD DRAFTER

In this position, you have the exciting opportunity to lead the design process for our construction projects from conception to completion. You work virtually and closely with your team to create comprehensive building plans and drawings that meet each client's requirements. During the sales process, you analyze preliminary drawings and determine how feasible the project is. Then, using our CAD software, you create more complex plans.

As the job progresses, you assist with internal design tasks such as project work, specification writing, and contractor management. You make sure that your team generates safe, reasonable plans while following budgets and meeting all deadlines. Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, you adjust designs as needed to make sure they totally satisfy our client's desires. Eager to succeed, you stay up to date with current trends, regulations, and safety codes. You take pride in knowing you are critical to our success!

Here's what you need to become a part-time Senior CAD Drafter:

• Experience producing design deliverables for the concept, schematic, detail, and construction document stages of a project
• Knowledge about building and safety codes as well as a range of relevant products, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD
• Ability to create architectural construction drawings for all types of buildings and facilities
• Strong knowledge of wood frame construction and structural design
