About The Opportunity…


As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to create visual concepts to communicate information and fulfill marketing objectives. Specifically:


  • Define requirements, visualize and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos
  • Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research; prepare drafts for presentation and approval
  • Work with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD) to develop layouts and art-work pages for print
  • Conceptualize and develop compelling visual materials (print and digital) based on project/assignment requirements
  • Conduct technical graphics determining the steps necessary to successfully complete marketing projects and make related recommendations to address deficiencies or to improve marketing programs and projects
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
  • Collaborate with Marketing Strategists to create effective campaigns and images to increase customer engagement and sales conversion
  • Develop, evaluate, and ensure the effective implementation of marketing graphic projects
  • Shape the visual components and aspects of websites and pages, Google Display ads, print ads, manuals, flyers, magazines, product information bulletins
  • Make recommendations regarding the development and implementation of marketing projects; the selection of appropriate graphics processes; and any mitigation/remedial strategies to address marketing goals


About You…


Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in graphic and creative design, including:


  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • A proven commitment to quality of work
  • Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a creative field, or equivalent experience
  • At least two (2) years of proven experience as a graphic designer in retail industry; automotive preferred
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator
  • A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with both print and digital media
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
