Digital Graphic Designer Jobs

Toromont Cat is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our team! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Graphic Designer with proven work in digital marketing. Your thirst for quality work, digital communication trends and great creative insight is complimented with solid design skills? You will be part of the marketing, branding and communications team. Reporting to the Marketing Supervisor of Toromont Cat. In this role, the Designer will develop, design, and implement concepts across multiple channels.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Act as a brand steward, ensuring adherence to Toromont Cat and divisional graphic platform standards across all touch points
• Thinking about design from an UI/UX perspective and following guidelines for optimal user experience
• Communicate and collaborate effectively to build strong relationships with team members
• Create engaging visual content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin) with motion design or static images
• Create web and mobile banners (animated and static)
• Design visual mock-ups with an emphasis on responsive and mobile design
• Create web pages, optimizing design and user experience to drive conversion
• Create email and newsletter templates that drive engagement and take into consideration targeting and customer journey sequencing
• Be engaged and proactive in the creative process with providing suggestions, recommendations and improvements to concepts, designs and campaigns’ declinations
• Work collaboratively with agencies, other designers, contractors, the internal web team and the internal creative team (writers and graphic designers) in the development and deployment of marketing projects
• Participate in the creation and update of all marketing materials

Must-haves for this role:

• Solid graphic design experience with web/digital/branding design background.
• Motion design and video editing experience
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a graphic designer in the field of corporate branding, product branding, user experience, user interface (UI / UX), digital product design and digital marketing
• Possesses a strong portfolio with professional work examples that demonstrate concepts development with excellent use of typography, composition and image selection
• High-level skills with the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro
