Title: Jr. Graphic Designer / Large Format Print Operator

Reports to: Creative Design Manager

Based at: Mucci Pac Ltd., Kingsville, ON

Type of Employment:12-month, Full-Time term with potential for a permanent position. This position is on-site.

: Mucci Farms is a leading greenhouse produce company headquartered in Kingsville Ontario. For over 60 years, we’ve passionately grown and marketed award-winning fresh, flavorful greenhouse grown produce.

We are seeking a graphic designer who enjoys print and the tactile side of design, to join our growing marketing team, as we continue making an impact on the produce industry.

This position is a temporary contract for a 12-month maternity leave replacement with potential for a permanent position. As graphic designer, you will help assist with the creation and execution of company related marketing and branding projects, including various internal requests, various point of purchase signage, tradeshow displays and presentation graphics.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Create printed packaging mockups for presentations, trade shows and events.
• ‪Print, operate and maintain large format printer.
• Maintaining inventory on all large format printing materials (ink, vinyl, etc.)
• ‪Maintain brand consistency across multiple applications and platforms.
• Other duties, tasks and special projects, as requested by the Creative Design Manager and/or the Director of Marketing.
• Prepare digital files for large format printing for various media (vinyl, film, etc.)
• Apply printed vinyl graphics to various substrates (foam core, coroplast, etc.)
• Create design solutions for various internal projects (i.e.. signage, banners, t-shirts, posters, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Work experience in a print shop or sign shop considered an asset.
• Must possess valid driver’s license, valid passport, and ability to travel to various industry trade shows and events.
• ‪Ability to work in a mac environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member, within an open concept work environment.
• Ability to receive constructive criticism with an open mind.
• College diploma or University degree in graphic design or similar program.
• ‪Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• ‪Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• ‪Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Preparation and installation of vinyl graphics and/or mounting graphics to substrates considered an asset.
• ‪Must possess excellent design skills and strong attention to detail.
• ‪Must possess a good understanding of file preparation for digital and print applications.
• ‪1+ years of graphic design experience.
