Junior Graphic Designer Co-Op/Intern

Plan Group is looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer Co-op/Intern to join our team.

The successful candidate will work with our Marketing and Communications team, providing top notch graphic design and video editing work. The ideal candidate has the following skills and attributes:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Raw, Dreamweaver, Lightroom, etc.) and Powerpoint.
• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Media Arts, Graphic Design or Digital Specialist.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of image formats and graphic compression tools.
• Experience with photo editing, typography, web design, video and print production.
• A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

BRAND

• Champion and adhere to the Plan Group brand guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions.

DESIGN

• Deliver assets for design projects across various media and platforms (digital and print) using design software – Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom).
• Design and update/edit existing templates.
• Produce icons, graphics, tiles, call-to-actions, and other marketing materials.
• Develop, edit, and add graphics to PowerPoint presentations.

IMAGE CURATION

• Curate and apply images to social media creative and collateral.
• Responsible for organizing, editing and gathering images.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

• Animate video (motion design) for advertisements on social platform and other communications.
• Participate in the design of internal and external videos for social media, internal campaigns, and events.
• Deliver assets for video projects across various media using software such as Premiere Pro and Dreamweaver.
• Development of graphic elements for video production.
