Job Description
General Description
  • NOTE: The Business Decision Support Professional Level 1 is most likely an expert in business, specializing in a particular field such as Risk Management, Policy Advisory, Strategic Planning, Business Process Improvement, or Business Transformation.
  • The Business Decision Support Professional Level 1 facilitates complex decision-making in support of the design and implementation of business change or improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve issues by analyzing changes and impacts to designs and scope.
  • Assist project managers with planning, testing, and transitioning from projects to operations to meet business requirements and project objectives.
  • Create high-quality documents such as governance plans, impact assessments, risk analysis, process maps, and decision documents to contribute to process standardization.
  • Support change management efforts, including communications, stakeholder analysis, and training activities.
  • Ensure timely project completion by conducting stakeholder reviews, securing approvals, and adhering to safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Facilitate and lead collaborative workshops with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and implementation consultants to conduct analysis.
  • Collaborate with the business, vendors, and team members on data migration and system interface activities, ensuring proper communication and addressing dependencies.
Qualifications
Education and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
Experience And Role Accountabilities
  • Plan and organize business initiatives by using knowledge in business drivers, risk tolerance, and trade-off processes, to enable successful integration and adoption in our complex and regulated environment.
  • Facilitate decision-making across diverse groups of stakeholders by using excellent skills in communication, critical thinking, and persuasive influencing to deliver recommendations that align to the business goals.
  • A minimum eight (8) years of strategic business analysis experience or equivalent.
  • Translate business insights into strategic, actionable options by obtaining and organizing key business information, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Maintain meaningful business relationships by prioritizing strategic considerations in a complex environment with diverse groups of stakeholders so that projects are implemented as planned.
Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead collaborative workshops and analyze data for assigned deliverables. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality documents, conducting thorough issue investigations, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. Additionally, they will assist in project planning, testing, and transitioning activities to ensure successful process design solutions that meet business requirements.
