Your mission should you choose to accept it.
As a Data Warehouse Architect at ScalePad, your mission is to design, develop, and optimize our data warehousing solutions for informed decision-making. Lead the migration to modern cloud platforms, enforce data governance standards, and empower teams through technical guidance. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance while staying updated on industry trends to drive innovation and strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into data warehouse solutions.
• Monitor and maintain data warehouse systems, including troubleshooting.
• Support data analysts and BI teams with insights and reporting requirements.
• Implement data governance and orchestration frameworks.
• Ensure GDPR-compliant data quality and security standards.
• Lead migration from legacy to cloud-based warehouse systems.
• Design and develop data warehouse architectures, models, and ETL processes.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis for quality improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Optimize performance and data management practices with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, identify sources, and define integration strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in data warehousing and analytics.
• Align data warehouse strategies with organizational goals through governance initiatives.
• Document designs, configurations, and processes for technical reference.

Qualifications.

• Strong knowledge of GDPR, data security, and access control mechanisms.
• Expertise in migrating legacy warehouse systems to scalable solutions.
• Experience with data governance and orchestration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow).
• Expertise in data extraction from various source systems (e.g., PSA, ERP, CRM).
• Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing techniques, and SQL skills for manipulation and performance tuning.
• Ability to architect scalable and high-performing warehouse solutions with optimized data models.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, design, development, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics).
