About the Role

You want to roll out technical systems that make a big difference and allow you to test out your different languages, whether it's Javascript, Python, or R. The idea of having space and freedom to write code that delivers WOW moments for technical and non-technical people alike appeals to you. You help bridge the gap between strategy and data programming to deliver meaningful insights for charities across North America.

You aren't afraid of deepening your experience. In fact, you like the idea of being tasked with problems that you don't know quite yet how to solve - but you know that you will learn how to solve them. Whether it's Chat GPT or collaborating with our pool of contractors, you ask smart questions to get the solutions you want.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Create client resources and documentation to facilitate understanding and control, with a focus on “teaching first” to empower clients to achieve fundraising success.
• Develop and run scripts in Python or a similar language to segment and rank donors in preparation for direct mail campaigns based on client-provided data.
• Collaborate on projects, both internal and client-facing, using Notion or similar project management tools to better utilize data sources available to us to build or optimize client services.
• Develop and run scripts in Python or a similar language to prepare Fundraising metrics to help clients understand their fundraising data.
• Develop and run scripts in Python or a similar language to prepare lists for digital campaigns - both for email fundraising and digital advertising campaigns.
• Work closely with Generosity X’s Founder and Lead Strategist to develop reporting for clients on a regular basis ( we meet with clients bi-monthly to talk results) to measure our wins and losses for clients to bring transparency about our performance.
• Build dashboards that clients can view to track results based on individual campaigns or over time periods to help showcase the value of Generosity X’s work. Dashboard platforms will be determined by the final candidate and Generosity X team (e.g., Tableau vs. Looker Studio).
• Work with clients to provide process improvements to enhance data management and ensure quality assurance of project and donor data.

• From May 1st until the August long weekend, we have Fridays off. We work hard many months of the year, so in the summer, we enjoy a few extra days by the beach.
• We hold quarterly in-person retreats to discuss and plan for the next three months.

• We offer you a competitive salary of $42,000 - $48,000 per year along with performance-based bonuses. We'll ask you to work 35 hours per week.
