Data Analyst (Part Time)

The IQVIA’s Information Management(IM) team is growing and that means our data warehousing and MDM practice is too. Key to supporting this business growth is the development of our CDH and MDM Products. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team to help us on this journey of developing our CDH Solutions and MDM Product. The Data Analyst will work closely with our US team to deliver and operate a technical solution to support their data-warehousing needs and data analytics/MDM products.
IM is a fast-paced environment which means you will deliver work under tight timelines and be flexible working with the principal managing analysis to deliver high quality work. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical, communication and project management skills with a background in implementing new customer requirements and solution enhancements with life science customers. This position is a part time position, and the successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week on the below distribution of work:

• Project management and delivery – 30%
• Internal initiatives – improving IM’s capabilities in the space – 10%
• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics development – 30%
• Technical Solution Design – 30%

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business and IT teams during requirements and design phases of the project and be the primary point of project contact
• Collaborate with different stakeholders during testing, roll-out and operations phases to ensure seamless transitions
• Leverage prior experience in ETL and cloud-based technologies to design, deliver and manage operations for data-warehousing solution and data analytics/MDM products for IM team
• Build comprehensive implementation project plans with well-defined tasks and owners
• Support IM leadership team in strategizing and planning growth in this space

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of prior work experience in designing/leading implementation for Data Warehousing and Data Analytical/MDM projects
• Ability to build strong relationship with internal team members
• Experienced with working on AWS, Azure and other cloud-based platforms is must
• Experience with data structure analysis, data modeling, data management
• Strong passion for data and technology with the aspiration to work in consulting
• Experience with MDM products like Reltio, Informatica
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience with life sciences clients preferred
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience using ETL technologies and platforms
• A relevant bachelor’s degree in any of Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, etc
• Demonstrated experience using, SQL(AWS Redshift/Snowflake/Azure Synapse), Python, Big Data Analytics
