Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer of building products is seeking a Customer Service Manager in Vaughan.


The Customer Service Manager will lead the department and will work closely with production and management to resolve service-related issues. This individual will implement customer service policies and will ensure high quality services.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production to ensure daily production needs are met.
  • Update management on any concerns and inability to meet scheduled timelines.
  • Develop department metrics and KPIs and ensure departmental objectives are met.
  • Identify training needs for direct reports and ensure the development of the leadership pipeline and the personal growth of team member.
  • Develop strategies to best support and add value to clients.
  • All other duties as required.
  • Lead the order entry team.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all service requests and determine validity of warranty requests.
  • Build and lead the customer service department ensuring a highly engaged and motivated team.
  • Ensure timely processing of orders and communication with customers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding timelines to customers in a prompt and efficient manner.


Qualifications:

  • Customer service oriented.
  • Related customer service management experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Techy savvy with the ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven experience leading teams.
