Cost Estimator Jobs

Position Summary: The Estimator is responsible to analyze drawings and specifications in order to create detailed cost estimates for product for the manufacturing process of Park Model and Modular Homes.

Responsibilities:

• Review scope of work and evaluate requirements for pricing
• Review blueprints and drawings in AutoCAD to accurately create detailed cost estimates and proposals for Park Model and Modular Homes
• Investigate and document inventory discrepancies while maintaining a clear understanding of the transactions in the inventory database
• Maintain and supporting documents and files
• Complete work in progress reports
• Act in compliance with the health and safety policies and procedures
• Validate proposals through comparison to similar projects, existing designs, and as-built data to ensure accuracy
• All other duties as assigned
• Accurately update and add new products and pricing to database

Qualifications/Education

• An understanding of construction and construction materials used in building manufactured homes
• Post-secondary education in construction or business related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• 1-3 years proven experience as an estimator
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills
• Ability to analyze and present data
