Job Title: Manufacturing Cost Estimator with Project Coordinator Component

Position Type: Full-time (Monday to Thursday - 7am to 4:30pm, Friday 7am to 3:30pm)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Manufacturing Cost Estimator with a Project Coordinator component to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for estimating manufacturing costs accurately and efficiently while also facilitating project coordination efforts. This combination of skills is vital to ensure our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Estimating:

·Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and materials to prepare detailed and accurate manufacturing cost estimates.

·Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to gather relevant information.

·Assess labor, materials, and equipment costs, as well as overhead expenses, to determine overall project costs.

·Maintain a database of historical cost data for reference and analysis.

·Present cost estimates to management and clients, addressing inquiries and providing explanations as needed.

Project Coordination:

·Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

·Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

·Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and update project schedules.

·Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.

·Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

·Address project-related issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track.

·Collaborate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field.

·Proven experience in manufacturing cost estimation and project coordination, with at least 3 years in a similar role.

·Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost factors.

·Proficiency in project management software and tools.

·Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

·Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

·PMP or related certifications are a plus.

·Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
